I'd like to hear everyones opinion on what you do for manual submissions, such as which forums, blogs, wikis, etc. What do you guys think is the best and most efficient way to build links manually without using a program. Id like to hear everyones thoughts.

The best advice that I got from one discussion is to spread your links on high traffic websites. One example is a popular blog that has a hundred thousand regular readers. Think of how many people can be reading your comment if ever you will post there. With your backlink in your signature, that is a good investment for the building of your backlinks which can be considered high quality.
