    Well there are plenty methods that can be used to increase your backlinks count, like: link wheels, blog commenting, guest posting on blogs or forum posting as well as plenty others.

    There's really too many to list, it's basically endless.

    Your best bet is simply browsing SEOClerks to learn about them all since the categories provided cover all of the biggest forms of link building.

    I don’t know what you mean by advanced link building but my suggestion is for you to learn how to determine the quality of a site. Posting your backlinks on another site is not that basic because it is best if you post on a site that has a big number of traffic otherwise it will not be a good backlink. It is like posting on a blog that has a million readers. Think of how many users would see your comment on that blog compared to a blog that has only 5 regular readers.
