From what I understand, Page Rank is the result of the evaluation of your website by Google. Let’s say your website is ranked 500, that means it is the capability of your website with search engines. Doing SEO work will make that rank higher. And a higher rank will help your website land on a good position in the search list. That is the ultimate goal of an SEO specialist, to make the website be the #1 in the search list because that can give the website extra traffic.
