    sometimes i guess yes ......


    because blogger.com will have a different rank from blogger.de or blogger,in or blogger.se etc .....but i think other blogging platforms dont have effect of this i guess because they are not country specific ....

    I have to agree that there is a difference in ranking with sites that are in Blogger related to countries but the question is the platform which may be pointing to Blogger and Wordpress. In all discussions about this topic that I have come across it is always Wordpress that came out as the outstanding favorite of the users. Maybe Blogger has to make some innovations on its platform to grab the users from Wordpress.

    I think it somewhat affects the ranking of a blog.

    For instance, when I was using Weebly for my blog, my blog was not getting ranked easily.

    Now I use Wordpress and my blog ranks much better.

    Theoretically speaking blogging platforms, content management system, domain extension do not have anything to do with search engine ranking. However, sometimes what blogging platforms you are using effects your ranking. Blogger blog will be ranked higher than wordpress because blogger is a Google product. Your wix or weebly blog will be always ranked down than wordpress blog.

    I don’t think the blogging platform has an effect on the SEO rankings. However, there was one discussion where a commenter said that a blog in Blogger has an advantage in Google because Blogger is owned by Google. I agreed on that but I was just using logic because if I were Google, of course, I will give priority to the users of my platform. But now I think I was wrong that. It looks like the blogging platform has nothing to do with SEO especially if we talke in general about search engines and not Google alone.
