    What can i do to improve my alexa ranking?

    I am always very much concerned about alexa ranking and i think that alexa ranking of your site actually tells that where your site stands...So please give me any suggestion to improve alexa ranking of my site?

    One way of doing it used to be by adding the Alexa toolbar and then visiting your site with it enabled. These days that doesn't work quite the same but you can buy reviews on Alexa for your site. Either that or you can do it yourself as well. However, having a low Alexa rating wont really do much for your SEO. Actually, it wont do anything for it all as far as your SERP ranking goes. Alexa is a 3rd party metric site and Google doesn't use 3rd party sites that could go offline at any moment as a way to assess your SEO score. The only thing it's really good for is when it comes to selling your site or selling advertising on your site as it lets people know how popular your site is. What can i do to improve my alexa ranking?

    Let me ask this question. If your browser has no Alexa toolbar, will your site still be considered by Alexa in the ranking? One friend said that only those browsers with Alexa toolbar are included in the ranking and that made me confused. The toolbar is connected to the browser and not on the site which means they have no direct relationship so why would the toolbar affect the ranking of the site?

    To improve alexa rank you need traffic, a lot of it, as well as dofollow/nofollow backlinks. Anything counts.

    Alexa ranking is basically based on traffic and backlinks on a certain site. In order to improve alexa rank, you need to improve traffic and backlink. When you begin to get more traffic and get better backlinks, your alexa rank will obviously imporve. It is highly recommended that you install alexa tool bar on your browser.

    I have read in another discussion about Alexa ranking that your website’s rank in Alexa is based on the traffic that your site receives. That means you need to get more traffic in order the increase the Alexa rank of your website. For this issue, I guess you have to resort to SEO work to get more traffic to your website.
