    As long as they are not all from the same IP, setup correctly with in bound and outbound dofollow's as well as a HIGH PR page to post the backlinks on which is relevant to your website, then yes, always. Just do not over do it. Google will sandbox your site.
    Even if you do it right, its not always a guarantee, just how it is these days with google - its very very hard these days. Ranking makes almost zero sense to the programs whom engineer the algorithm changes Web 2.0 Link Wheel is it Beneficial?

    How can they know what the IP address that created it was tacitinc? It's not published anywhere on the site. They don't have access to that kind of information and wouldn't want it if they could. Sorry if I sound like I'm bullying you lol I just wondered because as far as I was aware they have never been able to see that information. I agree with the other stuff you said though you pretty much hit the nail on the head there. I'm not sure what you mean by a "HIGH PR page to post the backlinks on which is relevant to your site" though. What do you mean by this? Or do you mean that the web 2.0 will be a high PR site that will be related to the owners site? It would be related if he has lots of unique content on it that was related to his site yes and that Web 2.0 site it's on is a high PR site or a high authority site anyway. That is why Web 2.0's are so powerful and effective when used in the right way for building related links to your site and for throwing a lot of links at quite safely too. As for the algo engineers as far as they're concerned they think they only try to do what they think is the right thing to do. Unfortunately if past history is anything to go by, that has not always worked out in every ones favor.

    Are you saying this based on experience or just so you could increase your faq count? You are absolutely right of course. There's no doubt about that. I can confirm that myself based on real life experience and can back that up with proof of ranking improvements at any time. I've sold a lot of my sites that I've used Web 2.0 to improve their ranking with before flipping them later on. But I still have some of those Web 2's today and they're still up. That's what I like about them is that they have a long shelf life. A long stick rate if you will. And they can be very powerful when used in the right way. Too many too fast can be bad for you but gone slowly and done right with tons of unique content on all of them can have very interesting results for even medium competition keywords.

    Yes it can be beneficial and help you to rank higher. Web 2.0 sites are high authority sites and today there are some very big web 2.0 sites that rank high on their own for all sorts of different things depending on what it is. You can use them to build long lasting backlinks to your site and can get them ranking quite high on their own without much SEO needed to be done on them (backlinks). It's still good to do so though in some cases where the competition is a little higher than low-medium or medium strength competition keywords. And you should really use them properly as well. Start with the top 10 at first and create one at a time slowly like one a day or one a week. Make sure you add only unique content to all of them. Web 2's are great for putting images and videos and things on and usually provide you some great cool website features for your visitors like shout boxes or comments ability. I actually recommend this to anyone that wants a way to improve his/her websites ranking in the search engines today because you don't have to be a pro to do it and it can help when used with other SEO services too.     From what I gathered about the web 2.0 sites that they are authority sites although I do not have the details why they are considered so. Anyway when you post one backlink on one site then you have to check if the site is really an authority or it has been getting regularly high traffic. That one backlink that you posted will be considered quality backlink that can help boost the ranking of your site in search engines.
