Have you ever used a link farm for your pages? Do you feel that link farms are a good idea or would you rather not even waste your time with them?

No, don't create backlinks on websites that have a link farm stigma. Google will see this as a bad sign and can even lower your rank because of this.

Yeah i used link farm but most of my clients are not happy with the work that i am submitting to them so i quit using link farm..

I have read in so many discussions that posting in link farm is one good way of spreading your backlink. However, there are also discussions that say otherwise. If the search engine can penalize you for posting in link farms then I guess we have to avoid doing that. To be honest, I am not well versed with link farms but I know that some are using it for promoting their websites.
