Recently I was talking to a friend and he gave me the opportunity to come in and do some sales generation for his company. But when I get hired for something like this I like to go above and beyond so I'll also try to help build a brand and increase the positive reputation of the website or company so the client or friend is super happy after everything is done.
When I go about this I usually take 1 to 2 weeks setting up a plan of attack and this normally comes in the form of forum marketing to start the sales train rolling down the tracks.

But like most things that are worth doing, it's never easy to do!
It is and can be time consuming doing forum promotion. It is and can be a long process. It takes small baby steps at first. So joining those actual forums. Then introducing yourself (your first post) then replying to other peoples posts in the what's new section. It helps of course if you bookmark them in your browser. And perhaps even create a new folder to put them in so whenever you have a moment, just visiting one or two of them and actively engaging and taking part in the forum community. It wont happen over night, but in time, each new post will add to your reputation on that forum. Provided what you are posting and saying to people is nice and helpful and all that. Of course it would be if it was YOU posting! :D But like most things that are worth doing, it's never easy to do!
As for Canva, yeah that's something else altogether. You will get better at making them and using it, the more you use it, it's like anything like drawing. I'm rubbish at drawing (I shouldn't say that about myself?). Like all things, it comes to practice, practice, practice. But the truth is, some people are naturally gifted at drawing and I'm just not that gifted in that area. I've got an old text file saved somewhere on something I was going to post on LD about drawing to see if we had any talented drawers there. Will have to post it? :)

Yes I am sure doing this would be beneficial over time Mike.....but like my kids are at playschool from 8am - 1pm so there are times that I look at my life and I wonder how many more rabbits I can pull out of a hat... I'm sure you understand what I mean LOL

You'll get there, I think you will anyway. Because you're hungry for it. Hungry for because of what it can bring. And that can mean more security and opportunities for you and your kids. It is that same driving factor that pushes you forward on here or wherever you are or do online! Am I right? :)

You could, but then that would mean less money for you. And also, you wouldn't really be learning anything new then as they are doing all the learning for you. But if it was just for forum posting, to build up your accounts, they could do all the initial work for you I guess. If you trust what they say on those forums is sound solid advice and they aren't making you look like a blagger that's just posting for building up your post count rather than actually being a valuable contributor. If you can find someone that understands that and is good at it and charges reasonable prices then go for it and power to you if you do! :)

And if you do use a high authority forum, those forums are often ranked high by Google for things anyway. So you can use them for ranking purposes and it wouldn't (or might not necessarily) take a lot of SEO to get them ranking high. Although doing SEO on them can help with getting those threads ranking higher for your targeted keywords too.

I had to edit it and tick that it was Tutorial box! :D And indeed this is a solid way to Promote, Brand, Build Reputation and Bring In Sales. Not to mention of course, build some high authority related links to your site at the same time too. That's the double whammy effect of forum marketing, in that it's a multi sided thing and you get all these things from doing it. Plus if you use big forums in your niche, those will be counted as related links from sites in your industry which are like The Holy Grail of all backlinks you can get!
