Hi everyone,
I'm going to go over a few of the top services that track your page views, unique visitors, bounce rate, etc.
Here we go 
First off we have Google Analytics.
I'm not going to go over this much since most, probably all, of the people reading this will already know about Google analytics and have used it before. Anyways, Google analytics is one of the better free services out there to track your visitors and see where your traffic is coming from, what they're doing, and where they're going.
With Google analytics you can view up to 200,000 pageviews per day which is usually enough for 99% of websites. But if you get more traffic than that, you'll need a different service.
Now I'll cover HiStats.com
Histats is a great free service for anyone wanting to track unlimited visitors and pageviews. At least I think it's unlimited, I haven't been able to find anything that says if they have a daily or monthly limit.

The only downside of using histats is that you need to put one of their counters on your website somewhere. This is pretty common for free analytics trackers, but I'm not a huge fan of it for my own websites because I feel that it makes my pages look less professional. But that's just my opinion
OpenTracker.net isn't worth covering.
I've looked over opentracker and they do have a lot of great features, but they're comparable to histats and Google analytics.... But for a high price tag which is quite ridiculous in my opinion.

My personal favorite paid service is Clicky.com
Clicky is one of the best options if you have to use something because you have over 200,000 page views per day. If you're under 200k views per day you should just use Google Analytics because they have plenty of great features. But Clicky is amazing and can increase your marketing tactics a ton with all their great features. I've used clicky in the past and it was only because I did days of research on what would be the best paid service and clicky came out to be the best bang for your buck.
You can base how much your monthly fee will cost on how much their 100,000 page views per day plan costs ($19.99). You'll need to do a custom campaign, but it's worth it Let's say you have 400,000 page views per day, you can assume that your custom plan with cost the price of the Pro Platinum Plan but multiplied by 4 which would come out to $79.96. Now you might get a slight discount down to $69.99 but I wouldn't be expecting it since you'll be on a custom campaign.

I think real time statistics are good, but only for a website you just launched. After you get going and have been set up and successful for a while, you don't really need real time stats since you have loads of data to look at if needed. It's definitely a nice feature to see if someone is about to buy from you. It kind of reminds me of fishing lol, you can watch the fish look at your bait and sometimes the swim away, but once in a while you can see them take the bait. And taking the bait is the same as watching someone in real time buy something from you :D

Yes Cristian, that's my thing as well. I doubt I will ever reach such awesome traffic that I will need to find a paid service for tracking and if I do I think I will be very pleased. :)

I can't believe you never mentioned [b]StatCounter[/b]! ([color=#0000FF]statcounter.com[/color]). I've been using them for years! Probably at least 10 years. I have both free and paid accounts. I use their free account for tracking around 10 sites that don't get much traffic. But for sites that get more traffic I use their paid plan as it's only $5 for 50,000 log size. But Statcounter is perfect for seeing your daily/weekly/monthly or even annual traffic stats. You can see what organic traffic you got (Recent Keyword Activity). And what recent direct/referral traffic you got (Came From). As well as being able to track other stuff like exit link activity, visitor paths, visit length, returning visits, country/state/city/ISP, browsers, system stats that kind of thing. Plus there's all sorts of different bar charts you can view.

I prefer to any of those other ones you mentioned as you can quickly log in and check your sites traffic stats for that day/week etc. That's from the overview page but you can drill down on all of the above really quickly. :)

I've used always Google Analytics and histats, and to be honest i was not worried about their limit because my site traffic it's not very huge, and i think i'll never pass 200K views/day, their limit looks unlimited for my site :D ,. I haven't heard anything negative about Clicky, only positive things, however there is an issue of some features such as realtime sessions/pageviews on the site. I like knowing who's on a website in realtime, and that is where Clicky seems to fail. I'm unsure if they included this feature or not but when I previously asked a website owner whom uses clicky they said it was not available. I always used Google Analytics, and was never aware that it was limited to 200,000 pageviews or sessions per day. I thought it was unlimited, but apparently not. If I had to go with another analyics it would probably be with [i]Clicky[/i], as this is what this marketplace uses, and it appears to be a fine analytics tracking system.
