Stumbleupon Effectiveness In getting Traffic

Stumbleupon is a great social site which gives bundles of traffic for free. Its a great site for sharing your links in appropriate categories. After submitting a link to this site,you will see an immediate traffic boost. I have one question still in my mind that "How to get followers" on this site.

It is easy to use , you can just sign up in 2 minutes, then share your link in the respective category. If you share useful information, then you will find tons of traffic.

You can get traffic from stumbleupon but this traffic will increase bounce rate of site.

Stumbleupon is a great content discovery platform. However, in order to make most from stumbleupon, you need large numbers of followers. Until you can build large followers, you won't get substantial traffic. In my experience, non-users do not go to stumbleupon looking for contents, this social bookmarking site is based on users activities. Therefore, you need big followers to get most out of it. One of the ways to gain followers is by sharing your profile link or invitation link across other social media platforms. You can also follow people and they will reciprocate you, in this way you can build followers.
