    Well referral traffic is actually the traffic that comes from other websites. Some publishing you link anywhere can eventually lead to referral traffic.

    The easiest way is to post the link of facebook.

    When you say referral traffic is the traffic that comes from other websites then that is clearly backlinks, right? Technical people have the propensity of coining terms and inventing new words for their convenience. They are not thinking of the simple people who would get confused with what they are saying. I understand backlinks now after a long study and then here comes referral traffic which is new to me. Thanks for clarifying that referral traffic is the traffic that was effected by the backlink of your site.

    How can you "Create Your Own EDU Blog"? Do you mean on Edublogs.com Web 2.0 site? Because normal people like us can't buy .edu or .gov domains. You need to be a part of the government or some education service like a college or university as far as I was aware?

    I do not recommend using a service like that. It can have its value in some way but the damage they can do can far outweigh that. Plus many of those sites in the system are iffy and questionable and you have no way of knowing if those users are actually viewing your site or let alone if they're actually interested in it! Using a service like that will proof fruitless and just a massive waste of time. As said it can be valuable in some ways but you can get so much more value else where these days with the rise of social media and there being many excellent SEO and Promotional Services on SEOClerks that there is no need to even waste time with such a service as that. But each to their own.

    Social media is my best bet for referral traffic. The concept is posting the promotion of your website and let your followers or friends not only click on the link but also share your post which means it will spread further. Although it is easier said that done but practically anyone can do that kind of marketing especially when you have an active account in social media, you can start right now.
