    RSS feeds will contain copied content from other sites. Even if it's only excerpted, this content will not help you rank higher in Google Search. Always ideal to write your own content versus publishing RSS feeds from other sites.

    If you have a blog on wordpress, you would have rss url of your blog, you can submit that url to rss directories to get the benefit as well.

    RSS feeds are always preferred over manual feeds. It is because rss feeds are automatic and they save time for webmasters RSS updates versus manual updates
