    If you are just getting backlinks for traffic purposes, then you're most likely going to reap SEO benefits as these type of backlinks will usually be from sites similar to yours. I think Google would be pleased with that idea.

    Keep update your website, If you archive top rank then its clear you are on right track, don't force to do extra work on it or don't less, just doing as u are, trying to get good quality back links if natural then its best, make your website more user friendly and keep update yourself about google updates and follow his guideline too.

Therefore, the website and the content should be useful and interesting to the people. You need keywords to improve search engine ranking, however, keyword stuffing will deter the readers.     I like that line “don’t deceive your users” because I have been receiving emails lately about an advertisement of a big credit card company. It said that you need to validate your account. But if you click on the icon for the needed validation, you are brought to another website. I think it is called click bait. Anyway, that is clearly deceiving the user and I wish websites using that would be suspended indefinitely.
