    I think you have to think that you have a new site. What will you do if you have just created a website? Of course, the first step is to upload contents because without contents there is no website to speak of. By uploading new contents the crawlers will check on your site and if you have good keywords and good backlinks then I guess the ban will be lifted and your site will be ranked again.
