    Do you actually mean to say decrease alexa rank? I think you meant to ask how to improve alexa rank. Since alexa rank is based on number of backlinks and traffic you get, by imporve your traffic status and increasing backlink, you can improve backlink. You can gain traffic by promotion your website on social media platforms, you can also start email marketing campaign.

    I’m also confused with the question but I am not assuming the opposite. Anyway, one good way to decrease the Alexa rank of your website is to post copied contents from popular sites. Do it so many times every day and your website will surely slide down in the Alexa ranking. And if that is not enough, you can delete all the contents of your website. For sure, that is the most effective answer to your question in decreasing the Alexa ranking of your website.

    Alexa rank is the result of traffic. As you gain traffic, your rank will gradually improve. However, if you lose traffic your rank will lower. If you want to decrease Alexa rank, you should first stop getting traffic. You can do this by not doing seo, not promoting your site, publishing crappy and stolen contents.
