    Search engines determine the topic of the content based on the keywords used in the content title, content body and meta description and meta tags. If there are no keywords, the search engine will have a hard time in determining the topic of your content. Since search engines do not understand the contents that do not have keywords, the contents will never be found on searches. If content is not found, you are not getting any traffic.

    You have a pretty good explanation of the keyword and I’d say I have learned something new today. I didn’t know the purpose of the keyword although I thought that the keyword acts like a backlink. But now you said that keywords are checked by search engines to know about the contents which mean the keyword that you will use should be directly relevant to the contents of the web page.
