    Long tailed keywords are helpful?

    I read some where about long tailed keywords, can any one tell me what are they? And how they are beneficial for our site?

    They are basically normal keywords that have two ore more words, even hole phrases.

    Long tail keywords benefit your site for many reasons but the main one is obviously search queries. If you have a lot of backlinks to a commonly searched long tailed keyword then that's clearly going to be just awesome for traffic.

    I think is very helpful, when somebody search on google for even 1 word you can be there

    I think they also call it key phrase to mean the long tailed keywords contain more than 1 word that are embedded as a keyword. It is like using “car” as a keyword but a long tailed keyword would be “compactcar” which is more detailed because of the 2 words that were used and it will be even be more detailed if you use “compactelectriccar” which has a clearer category that it is not just a car that you are looking for.
