    For me the way I learned the most was from SEO forums. I used to spend hours sifting through threads and reading them. Trying to gleam as much information as I possibly could about all things SEO. Because I knew that as a webmaster, the only way I'm going to succeed (probably) was if I do some good SEO to my site. So I used to spend hours sifting SEO blogs and forums and reading all the latest articles and things SEO's would post and find out all the tips, tricks and methods they used that I could use on my own site.

    Then after that, it came down to doing and gaining experience. I gained that experience by doing. I've learned more about SEO from doing than I have from reading if I'm honest. But I've done a lot of doing and tried many different things when it comes to SEO methods/techniques.

    That is my problem for now – putting into practice what you have learned. I know that my reading is not enough although I have learned a great deal of SEO methods from this site. But I also know that I need to practice so that it will sink in my mind particularly the details of the SEO methods. I am hoping that my plan to put up my own website will materialize early next year so I can test the SEO methods that I know.

    When I joined this site last year, my knowledge of SEO is zero. I am not ashamed with that fact. But now maybe I can say that I have learned so much although I still need to learn many more chapters regarding SEO. My strong understanding with SEO is the content which is the salient ingredient that affects the SEO rankings of a website. Take for instance a forum, it needs new posts to be considered updated. For a blog, naturally a new blog is it. And for you to learn about SEO, just roam around this site. Good luck
