    Google and other search engines love unique content, lots of its, so if you have unique, well written articles on your website, search engines will bring your website up in more search results and higher up in the search results your already in. Creating a blog for your website and publishing frequent unique articles to it and doing some link building to those articles, your traffic could dramatically increase if your do it over some time and don't do anything to encure penalties.     Are you talking about article marketing or articles published on sites like ezine articles which give a backlink? If you are using this method, then do so with caution as some people are now saying their site is getting penalized for linking from the ezinearticles site. If you meant blog posts, then give your best information in tutorials on every blog post and you'll satisfy your readers and Google and be well rewarded with higher search engine ranking.

    If you submit articles on article submission sites, you will have an option to share link with anchor text. By sharing such dofollow links you will be generating backlinks for your site. backlinking is one of the primary factors of getting high rank on the search results.

    When you say article, that is the content we are talking about. When you upload a new article to your website, it gets a good rating from the search engine because the new article indicates that your website it current and not stagnant. And when the website is considered current by the search engine, it is included in the search list. That’s why it is advised to upload new articles which should be unique and not copied from another website.
