    Should you query a magazine more than once?

    When submitting a query for an article to an offline magazine, is it wise to submit the request again if they don't respond to your first letter? And, how long should you wait before sending the second query letter?

    As I've said in another thread, it's worth giving it another go. I'd wait probably 2-3 months before submitting again. Perhaps even send them an article as an example Should you query a magazine more than once?

    I would wait a solid 3 months before you do. Sometimes they get so backed up with submissions it is hard to read all of them.

    With a magazine, there could be a long waiting period as they review your magazine query. And, getting no response may mean they are not interested, so sending another query will only be an annoyance to the magazine staff. Just move on to another magazine with your next query until you are accepted and if you ever hear back from the first magazine, then chances are you will end up with more money as you will have more people to write for.
