    Should links be visible to guests?

    On some forums that I browse as a guest, the links are hidden. Is there a good reason you would hide links from your forum guests?

    There's really no reason to keep links invisible to guests, especially if you are promoting affiliate products on your site. Another thing, if you sell ad space (such as sticky threads or sponsored reviews), your advertisers will insist that all links be visible, especially to guests (who most likely clicked through from search engines).
