Bounce with it! Your websites bounce rate is an obvious indicator of how interesting and appealing your website and its content is to its visitors. The higher your bounce rate, the less people are finding your site or its content valuable and interesting to them or is perhaps a sign that you don't have enough content to keep people hanging around longing enough! And Google doesn't like that, it likes sites that have a very low bounce rate which shows that the site has content on it that people find useful and interesting to them. Useful and interesting enough to hang around and keep reading or using all that amazing content that you have be it blog posts, videos, visuals, reviews, guides or whatever.
But if you think you have a great looking site, and it has lots of great content on it which you've worked long and hard on, but your bounce rate is high, what can you do about that? What can be done to safely decrease your bounce rate on your website?
There are several very obvious reasons why you would want to. The first would be because a lower bounce rate can have an effect on your ranking positions. It's something that's taken into consideration by Google when deciding on how to rank your site. The other reason is because it can help you attract more clients or advertisers for your site as well. Nobody wants to advertise on a website that has a high bounce rate because it's likely it wont have very good rankings and the traffic wont convert much anyway. Also it can help when you come to sell your website as well. If your website has a low bounce rate, that can be very appealing to a prospective interested buyer and can even be the deciding factor that swings the sale for you.
So what can you do to decrease your websites bounce rate?

The most obvious answer to this is to improve your website and its content altogether. To make it better by revising it thoroughly. You can have an article that's 2000 words in length but if it's all mostly filler content that doesn't really tell people anything new they didn't already know then they're not going to likely hang around and read your other articles too!
