Do you have links to any sites that cater to specific niches such as cooking/pets/SEO, etc (and only those niches not generalized) that would allow free advertising, including directories, etc?

Does pay per click advertising work better than banner ads? Answered

I'd rather pay to have my banner placed on a high traffic forum or blog rather than pay per click. To me, it just seems like a better deal for what's paid. Which do you prefer; ppc or banner ad?
