    There is no limits.... no matter how new is your website...

    What is important this days is to make them look natural with anchor text variation and link velocity.

    Having a good anchor text mixing, a steady but increasing link velocity, good content and a big website then you will see the results.

    Based on the discussions that I have read about good backlinks what you need is a quality backlink which is the link of your site that is posted on an authority site like Gov and Edu sites and also in public domains. With the amount of backlinks that you have perhaps once a day will do as long as it is a quality backlink because it will be better than posting 100 backlinks on ordinary sites.
