    If your wanting to get ranked number one on Yahoo there are many practices that can be used to achive this however most would tell you to focus on google however I have done tons of research and been optimizing websites for years and from person experience Bing gives the best start up traffic and I will tell you a little secrete as well that Yahoo is powered by Bing so if your wanting to rank in yahoo then you should focus as well on Bing they both still have slightly different algorithms.

    Yahoo and Bing are both more content-oriented in websites rankings then Google, and Google values backlinks a lot more then Bing and Yahoo. So since content and meta are going to be your biggest deciders on yahoo rank here then you will want to update your content on regular basis, make sure your answering comments back and approving them as well. Also even know Google values backlinks more you need to still make sure you have good backlinks.

    For a straight method you need to Submit your sitemap to both Yahoo, and Bing. then create a page in Facebook and link it back to your website, then you need to either contact me (I provide very strong and clean facebook likes) or figure a way to get Facebook likes on that page for example tell your friends to like the page.

    The algorithm of search engines are not the same and the difference can be seen in the quality of the search list that they produce. In this issue I can say that Google’s search list has the most number of relevant links for my search but it may not be for your search. Doing SEO work on your site will increase the ranking in the search engines but we cannot say specifically for a particular search engine.

    Getting ranked #1 is not an easy thing to aspire for. Maybe you can aspire to be on page 1, at least that is realistic. But anyway, getting a good rank in the search list, whether it is Yahoo or another search engine, you have to use the SEO methods that are being discussed in this site. First is the new contents that you have to upload to your website regularly so that the search engine will give your link a better rating. And if your content is good enough then your website has the chance to be rated #1 in Yahoo.
