    How can you track the number of total backlinks you have?

    Does anyone tell me how to track number of backlinks without using webmaster.

    i guess check ur rank on alexa and they give total info about ur backlinks How can you track the number of total backlinks you have?

    There are many free tools and sites out there that you can track your backlinks with, but most of them only search in Google using some Google search operators to tell you which you can do yourself. All you need to do is search in Google with the search operator of "yoursite.com" -site:yoursite.com and this will remove any results fo your site showing but show you only those sites where that link was found. Sometimes the first page results aren't truly accurate though. So to get a more accurate count of your backlinks scroll to the last page whatever it may be and that will show you a much more truer and more accurate count of your backlinks.

    the best and usefull method is ahrefs.com, it shows you the backlinks you have.

    there is so many online tools that can help you to check how many backlinks you may. for an example: you can use ahrefs.com or siteexplorer.com.. Probably, you will find good information from their site. So, good luck

    I am also interested in this subject because I have learned that there are quality backlinks and there are bad backlinks. What if the site is already in existence for a long time and the owner had done a lot of work in building the backlinks maybe it is high time to check on those backlinks. I guess you really need a software or tool to check on the hundreds or even thousands of backlinks that you have.
