    Getting traffic from Facebook and Pinterest is simple. Login to your facebook and try to add to the maximum facebook pages and groups. Once you get attached to the maximum Facebook groups, you can start sending the updates of your site to these groups and pages. Share your site in 50-100 facebook groups dailyb for 2 months daily and after 2 months you will notice traffic coming to your site regularly from facebook. Same thing you can do in pinterest also. Create pins of your URL and then repin your pins every week.

    They say Pinterest will soon take over Facebook for traffic. Pinterest user base is young people where as Facebook demography consist of people in the age group of 55-65 years. Both of these social media are good for getting traffic. However, in order to generate traffic from Pinterest and Facebook is you should be very active on these platforms.
    You should first gain followers, then start promoting. However, you should never spam.

    Thank you for the information that the majority of Pinterest users are the young ones. To get traffic from social media, I agree that you have to be active and dynamic. That means you have to be reacting to the posts of the other users particularly your friends and followers. That way, they will have the tendency to also react favorably on your posts. And when you post the link of your website then they may click on it and it will result in traffic to your website.
