Is promoting products or services by black hat method fair?

It is seen very often that people use black hat method to promote their products, services or offers. My question is that is it fair to use the way for getting sells or traffics. I want to know that is it fair or not. Detail explanation on the topic would be a pleasure for me. Thanks.

Well Rajdwip, your question is rally a good question, there are many school of thought on this topic .. So i dont want to go to those .. In practical what i can see is All the internet Marketers, use Blackhat method to get sucess and i think it becouse of the nature of business .. if a internet maketer choose to use white hat method it will take ages to be sucessful .. i hope other will give you more information on this topic .. thanks
