    Are Yahoo Answer Backlinks Good for SEO?

    Firstly am I correct in understanding that once one achieves level 2 status or higher, one can put relevant live links into the resource box.

    Secondly does Google consider these as valuable back links for website owners with regard to SEO, does anyone have experience of this? Please let me know your thoughts?

    Yes of course, yahoo answers is an awesome place to get backlinks.
    You can answer questions related to your keywords, and still receive several hits to your site.
    I always use yahoo answers and get several requests every day

    Hii I m a level 2 user.. according to me.. the yahoo answers had great impact on ur website.. the traffic will b increased on ur website.. there r so many persons who gave the yahoo answers.. so you can automatically get the requests by ur answer.. in this way u can increase your backlinks..     I have a question on this discussion about Yahoo Answers. I had read in another discussion that getting a backlink on Yahoo Answers is one good quality backlink. However, the question is how to get a backlink in Yahoo Answers? I don’t think it is that easy to post an excellent answer to that site but maybe I can try.
