Keyword proximity is the combination of the density of a keyword and the prominence. So proximity looks at the location of the keyword in the sentence and how often it's being used in that sentence and also takes into account the distance between them.

to each other in content of web page. It describes the proximity or the
distance of two or more keywords within a text.

I didn’t know that your keywords should have the so called proximity. Maybe I am wrong on my understanding and please correct me if I’m not correct that keywords should be related to each other. For example, the keywords pet and dog are directly related so to my mind they have the proximity. But pet and rocket are far apart which means they don’t have the proximity.
