    i am a member of seoclerks. we know seo is most important for website to get website rank in google. now my question is is seo only for google? please friend write the ans briefly. is seo works for others search program? what type of seo is important for getting website ranking?

    i think most of seoo are for google and many people i think all people use gogle to find anything they want. if your site well indexed in google your website will be placed i mean rank

    No, SEO is not just for Google only. There are different networking sites including social and non social sites that play vital role in SEO. Google is the main thing but you need good backlinks to improve your site SEO!

    No  -- Theortically Speaking, SEO can be done on other search engines as well such as Yahoo, Bing infact often business owners want to optimize their portals for specfic search engine

    But practically speaking demand for such services is very little in comparison to SEO campaigns for Google as Google drives about 70%  of world search queries.

    Most of the SEO are for google.  Just put your affiliate link anywhere you want that many people can click on it. I think all people use gogle to find anything they want.     SEO is not only for google, but for Search Engine. You know search engine not just a google. Also have ask, delta, panda etc but many webmaster doing SEO for google, because google is number one search engine.

    Google is the biggest search engine. Most of the traffic will always come from google as most of the people use google to do online search. However, there are other popular search engines as well. Other search engines are important as well. For instance there is baido for Chinese, which is Google alternate to Chinese people. Therefore, when you do search engine optimnization, you will have to consider other search engines as well.

    Search Engine Optimization is for all search engines not only Google. But because Google has the most users then it's effect is more noticeable than other search engines.

    Pardon me for this comment. Don’t mistake me for being sarcastic. If you will look for the meaning of SEO, you will find that it means Search Engine Optimization. That means SEO works for any and all search engines. If it works for Google only then it probably would be called Google Optimization or something like that. In other words, any SEO work that you do to your site will be applicable to all search engines.
