    I don't think many people read advertisements in magazines, I think that advertising online and on social media such as Facebook and twitter are more effective nowadays.

    it depends on the niche. some will work and some wont. also check the cost analysis beforehand

    It is not all that important, but if the said magazine is one in which the sector where your business is pitched. Then advertising on it is a great way to go about it. I have not really advertised on magazines, but there are firms that have done it and still do which shows that they make money by doing so.
