    How long does it take for a site to move up 100k on alexa?

    i always wondered how long would it take for a site to move up on alexa and how much steady traffic or backlinks would need be so to do so. I know it would be kind of a trick question but there has to be an expert out there that can tell us how what and where it should be if applied methods are attached.

    It will be quite hard but not impossible.

    You need a good amount of traffic to get your site move up 100k on Alexa.

    Focus on increasing traffic and backlinks.

    if you daily get many many triffic then 2-3 month you website get this rank ....

    The Alexa ranking is based on the traffic that the websites get. That means if you want the Alexa ranking of your website to improve, you will be needing to get more traffic especially if your target is 100,000 ranks above the present ranking. That is not an easy task to do because I think you have to utilize all your resources in spreading your backlinks and promoting your website in order to get the needed traffic that will boost your ranking on Alexa.
