    You are right that there’s no such thing as free lunch, so to speak. To get 1,000 free Facebook likes you have to do it yourself by advertising your fan page to your friends in Facebook. Create another account and gather new friends (not the existing ones that you have in the first account) and promote your fan page to them. You can also use your Twitter account to promote your fan page.
