Check website traffic for a website I don't own?

I need to check website traffic stats for a website I don't own. I know there is Alexa, but is it reliable? Is there any other methods to determine how much website traffic a site is getting without installing my own tracking code on it?

and almost all bloggers always use google analyst

Alexa is the best way to looking the website traffics if you have not a privileges to put tracking code. Or you can view source code of the website to find the hidden tracking that you can observer
