    How many words must have an article to be effective in Google eyes? 400, 500,? 600 or more words? thanks

    I do believe it is 300 words. Which is why you will see many article writers offer 300 words as their lowest plan. The articles also do have to be unique, and well written.

    Google does not exactly say anything about the length of the article. Some people say, your article needs to have at least 200 words and some say you need to have at least 400 words. Forums where the post length is about 50 words are also ranked better by google. Therefore, we cannot be sure on this. However, Google wants good length posts. If your posts are very short visitor will remain on your page for a short time, which increases bounce rate. IN order to make visitors stay longer your posts need to be of good length.

    I had been writing blogs before and the standard give to me was a minimum of 2 pages of a word document and a maximum of 8 pages. Some other bloggers prefer a longer article but now that images are being used in articles to make it more reader-friendly, I guess the maximum is getting shorter like 5 pages. When I write an article, I always make it a point to be at least 1-1/2 pages of a word document for the minimum regardless of how many images I will be including in the article.

    I would have to say that a medium length article with 150 words up would suffice. But the most important thing is that it should be unique and original.
