Can sitewide links affect my website's rankings?

I have like 10 site wide links. Can these affect my website's rankings?

We all know that links both internally and externally can have a positive or negative effect on your rankings. The subject of link building is well documented therefore I wanted to talk about a specific section of link building namely “site-wide links” a site-wide link is mostly found in the footers or side bars of a website. It is defined as “A link which appears on all pages of a website” and is not always considered a bad thing to have in respect to search engine optimization.
