As far as I know Bounce rate has nothing to do with ranking. If you have a visitor that only visit on page of your site he/she is bounce of the site without visiting other pages of your site. Cause? He/she found what they looking for, or they not.. Google will never no.. I hade a one page site with BR of 98% that ranked 1. in google. You should be more concern about "Avg. Visit Duration:" That can infect your SERP ranking..

Bounce rate will affect your ranking. In order to reduce bounce rate, you should try to hold the visitors attention on your site for longer
duration. You can do this by redesigining your website, adding more
contents, publishing high quality, useful and informative contents. You
can also use visual media, photos and videos, to hold visitors
attention. You should never provide links to authoritative sites on your
blog. This will drive your traffic away.

I am confused with that I have read about bounce rate. Just in this discussion, there is one who said that the bounce rate can affect the ranking while another said it doesn’t. Oh well, just to be sure maybe we can check on the bounce rate. For a high bounce rate, my impression is the bland web page is the cause. If there is nothing interesting in the web page then the tendency for the user is to leave.
