    To be clear creating backlinks for youtube video doesn't make any effect on youtube search but it will work on google search result only. Since backlinks is the concept of general search engine not for video search engine. To improve your google search rank for any keyword you can go for backlink building.

    To improve rank on youtube search then you need to provide more engagement on your video like increase watch time and likes etc. The rate of use engaged or time spend on watching video that will help your video to rank on youtube. If people often leave your video after watching some seconds then no technique will work as youtube search decrease your ranks because don't want to spend more time on your video. Every video you post on your youtube should be promoted within 24 hours so it will boost on youtube search and you will get more natural viewers also.
