    What exactly do you mean by being clever that you can easily increase the page rank of your site? Do you know some tricks on the Youtube videos to be more effective in promoting the site? Please share that clever trick so we would be able to use it as well. We have a Youtube channel that is not getting a substantial amount of views but if that can be used for promoting a site then maybe we can earn money from those videos.

    Three years later and YouTube as a way to promote your site has grown even bigger and has become the number 1 method used by marketers and affiliates today to promote websites, products, services, offers and a lot more! Not only just be marketers and affiliates, but by people looking for things online who now look for videos instead of anything else to hear and see unboxing reviews or product demonstrations etc.

    There are many ways in which you can make your own promotional videos for your site. You can make free ones online using free video creation sites. These have got better now as well and there's usually a new one popping up all the time that does it a little differently or provides some new angle of doing it. Mostly they offer template videos you can edit with your own details by just changing the text and you can add your own images to it and select the background music etc. These can be quite good actually especially now, high quality, professional etc, although most places charge a little extra for HD quality and they will all mostly be branded with the sites logo on it which is fine for starting out but not really idea for long term use if you want your website/business to be taken seriously. Just search in Google for "make promotional video online" or "make video online free". There are just too many to put here!

    It's also not that hard to learn how to make your own promotional videos as well. You can even make them using Windows Live Movie Maker in Windows or download some freeware video creation software. Some may have limitations or brand your video though. There are also far too many of them to list here but if you search Google for "best free video editing software for windows" then you will find lists made by other people that will really help you see which one is ideal for you depending on your level of expertise. Really anyone can make high quality videos for their website for free today, there are many free guides and tools and things out there than there used to be.

    And considering the above aforementioned things how videos lead the way for affiliate marketing and traffic promotion, any webmaster and affiliate marketer not using videos in their promotion methods is effectively leaving money on the table!

    I have a blogger friend who is now into vlogging which is a form of blogging in video. She said that she is making videos for purposes of advertising a website. The pay is good because making a video is not easy but the effect is better than the traditional means of promoting a website. Maybe in the near future, the video advertising will be the standard with commercial websites.
