Yes because high alexa ranking means high traffic and this means you can turn traffic into cash by putting ads etc.

No. Alexa doesn't matter nowadays.... What matter is your pagerank.... lowering alexa rank doesn't mean you will get high traffic... if that is the case anyone can buy traffic packages for 3-4 $ to minimize the alexa rank and get high traffic and by that high earnings...

There are two factors involved with Alexa rank:
1. traffic
2. backlinks
The first factor is the main tool for ranking a website for alexa and the second factor is the secondary one. Your alexa rank will gradually improve when you begin to get better traffic. When you have good traffic, you cna monetize your traffic by having ads on your websites, you can use network ads such as Adsense or affiliate ads, such as products from amazon, ebay, clickbank etc.
Traffic does not guarantee sales, however, it increases the chances for sales.

If your website has a good position in the Alexa rankings then you can say that your website has a high value because the Alexa ranking is based mainly on traffic. In other words, when your website gets more traffic then the Alexa rank is increased. It will have a good value if you will sell your website. But other than that, I can’t think of anything that you can earn money just because of the high Alexa ranking of your website.
