Can one find a site for outsourcing contents?

It is true that freelance writers, we are always looking forward to doing more works for clients and all that, but I think that it gets to a point where you may have the need to outsource some of your works as well as when you may want to pick up a work elsewhere.

Is there any freelancing site where you can have this?

I wouldn't outsource my literary work. If you're good at writing, and you outsource jobs to other writers - the finished product might be very low quality. Could affect your reputation and sales. Outsourcing stuff like shipping products or items makes sense, if you can find someone professional and reliable.

You may outsource work as a third party. Chargebacks would be what should concern you if completed work is of poor quality. This is why even when you outsource something, you need to look at the final product before sending it to your customers or clients.

That said, there are many places on the net where you can hire freelancers: fiverr, guru, etc. You'd need to watch out for scammers though. Pay freelancers only when you ascertain the work completed is well done.

If you are outsourcing your work and the client is your regular client, then outsourcing can be a problem as the style of your previous work and your outsourced work might differ. However, you can give instruction to your freelancer and tell him the kind of work you want. If you choose the right freelancer and check his submission before forwarding to your client, I don't think there will be any problem.

If you are outsourcing your work and the client is your regular client, then outsourcing can be a problem as the style of your previous work and your outsourced work might differ.

The solution would be to rewrite the articles. It would save you a little bit of time if you had to do some research. The client would believe you did the work yourself.

Though something like might work, it would be better if the clients whose work you are outsourcing haven't seen any of your writing before. Fewer complications could arise.

When you are outsourcing, you are already paying the freelancer. If you start rewriting, it is like working again. Little bit of editing is ok, however, rewriting the entire content is not possible. Therefore, it is better to work yourself for your regular clients and outsource work if the client is new.

I've heard of people who outsource some projects specifically so others can do most of the research. All they'll do when the work is submitted is to polish up the piece and they'll charge a higher fee. It's not bad business in my opinion.

I agree. A single action could have an effect to your reputation. Outsourcing could give you negative results as the quality might diminish. Unless you will put extra effort to your outsourced content, it may work.

There definitely is a possibility that you might lose clients if the freelancers you hire are not that good at what they do. This is why it is important to hire only freelancers who you are sure can get you what you seek. Past samples aren't good enough IMO. Freelancers you hire should be aware that if their work isn't good enough they won't get paid. It will save you a lot of time and potential losses that might arise should you lose clients.

Hiring freelancers is a very important aspect as it will have a reflection of your business. It is like you're finding another extension of your body to work with. Their performance is important as you are the one who will be criticized when the product gone wrong.

Maybe to avoid complications you need two separate businesses.

Your first would be what you already do, yourself: selling your services directly to clients. The other one would be as a middleman who finds new clients and outsources the work at a lower rates so you can lock in a guaranteed profit. Maybe you could even step out of the picture and build up your site to be more like a platform where you match employers with freelancers who'll work for them.

That's a very good point. Well, if you can still do the workload and do it on your own, why hire some people To do a part of your job, that would be risky. But, it depends on them anyway.

For an article with a given niche I guess it is just all right to outsource the work as long as you give the hired freelancer the clear guidelines on how to do the writing. But if we are talking of literary work particularly fiction stories then that is a different story because the creativity is high in literature that you leave a footprint. If you outsource the writing then the freelancer is the one who will leave his footprint and not you.

I'm not into outsourcing yet as I think I could still handle my orders. But if ever that I could get a lot of orders, I don't think outsourcing could be a solution. It may reflect my image as a freelancer if ever that the service is not that good as I do. Unless you would put extra effort to check on it in order to sustain good quality. But that would also eat up your time.

If you are delivering he outsourced work without doing any correction, your reputation might be at stake, however, if you take time to check the work and do some correction, there won't be any problem. You should also choose the freelancer to outsource wisely. Always choose an experienced freelancer.

I agree. An experienced freelancer will do better than newbies. It would be better if you will require a sample work first before hiring a freelancer in order to have quality posts and to provide good service.

If you are outsourcing work, you also need to consider on how much you are paying. You cannot pay more than what you are actually receiving. generally, you must pay less than what you are receiving. If not than you are not making money. Therefore, you have to consider how much you are paying.

Unfortunately, I haven’t had the need to outsource my content, as I can’t say that I’ve had that much work to deal with. For now, most of the work I’ve had has been far too easily manageable, haha.

That being said, should the occasion arise that I do need to outsource my work, I know where I’d go. I would turn to the site Fiverr. That site has loads of talented people providing great service for just $5. The best part? As shady as this may sound, many of them are desperate for work, which is beneficial to someone looking to outsource their work.

I’ve known people who ordered work for $5 on Fiverr and sold it off for $50-$100. It’s shady business, and somewhat unethical, but if everyone involved is happy, who cares?

I am a freelancer writer and I have outsourced a couple of times. I was once commissioned to write an ebook for $200. I started to work on the project, however, there was a death in my family and I could not finish the job, Then I hired writers to complete the ebook,. I hired two writers and assigned different chapters. When they delivered the job, I did a final correction. I was able to make $100 without actually doing hard labor.

That was wise of you. I have seen most academic writers outsource the work to various writers, and they make a lot of money.

But one of them told me he is always busy going through the work to make corrections and ensure all instructions have been followed.

Outsourcing is a good way to earn more and to expand your connection. However, it is not as easy as ABC. You need to learn how to manage and how to recruit quality freelancers. You need to establish your craft first before you expand. It is good but it is not easy. It will take time to establish this. It may be hard but still possible.

I agree with you. Before you start outsourcing, ensure you are craft is okay. That is the only way you can manage the business.

As you have stated, outsourcing is good but not easy. After outsourcing work to various writers, one must sit and go through every article or paper delivered, to ensure it is of quality, and that instructions were followed.

It would be great when you reach that level of having a need to outsource some of your workload. That means you have a good deal of a job going for you and maybe your clients trust you so much that they would give you more projects. There are many sites where you can find freelancers for outsourcing but I don’t know if it is proper to mention those sites in this comment. You can do a search though.

I’m a bit confused by this question. In my opinion the same sites that you find work as a freelancer are the same sites where you can find freelancers to outsource your work to. Is this a trick question? Anyway I think you can find people to outsource to on sites like Upwork, Fiverr, People per hour etcetera. I think you can also outsource your work on job boards like craigslist e.t.c. Online this is not a problem.
