When you start blogging, you usually start off in a niche you're extremely familiar with. The only time you don't blog about something you know right from the start is if you're blogging about a learning adventure and you're posting about your journey through the learning process. Normally, people will build blogs in order to post content for their visitors to enjoy, and this means they write it up in their own words and don't do much research because they're already knowledgeable.But what about when you feel you've been posting about your niche so much that you've covered everything? Well, that's not a problem at all, you just need to branch out slightly and make your way into a sister niche that is related to your main niche
Let's say you're writing about snowboards and you've written everything you can wrap your head around, you can now branch out and write about snowboard bindings, snowboard wax, snowboard helmets, snowboard jackets, snowboard pants, snowboard boots, etc.
There are many different things you can write about, you just need to expand your mind a little bit and latch onto something. Once you branch out into a sister niche, it's usually something closely related to your original content. Some of you are saying "If I'm writing about snowboards, I'd also be writing about all the other examples you've given!" and that's not necessarily true.
You could be writing about snowboarding and covering all the categories I've given, but if you're just writing about snowboards, you won't be branching out too much.
You can also write about locations people like to go in order to ski or snowboard, like winter vacation spots in the mountains.In this discussion, if you haven't figured it out yet, I'll be discussing how you can set up your current blog and work with it in order to branch out into sister niches and still keep everything relatable.
Register a basic domain, nothing specific
If you were to register a domain like snowboardssnowboardssnowboards.com, you can't really write about many different things other than snowboards.
In order to branch out to a sister niche, later on, you will need to register a niche related domain, but keep it pretty general so it can still be relatable when someone comes to your website when searching a sister niche keyword.
Think of something like snowboardingtimes.com or wintertimefun.com because they can be more diverse when targeting topics.
Become an authority within one niche, then branch out slowly
Becoming an authority will definitely take time, so you will need to get started yesterday lol. When you are an authority within your main niche, you can then begin to branch out and add plenty of content about sister niches. Your current traffic and subscribers will be able to relate to all the new content you're posting, and they won't think you're just doing a sort of money grab.
You're posting content that they already know about, so they will stick around and read it 
Have a diverse design
When you want to branch out, you need to remember that you design needs to relate to everything you're talking about. This actually isn't a difficult thing to do as long as you know how to make your own images. All you will have to do is switch out some images so your new categories will look exactly what you're talking about.
Sure, you can always add images to your blog posts, but that's just within the content and not on the design.
I've been to a bunch of blogs and websites that begin to branch out and they all do one thing in common, they make their new categories unique and this shows the users that you are not only a professional, but you know what you're doing in the niche. If people think you don't know about the niche, they will likely leave your website and find someone who does.If you can't make your own images, I would suggest searching here on SEOclerks and hire a freelancer to do the new images for you.
You won't have to spend a ton of money, maybe $5 an image, and remember that these are just for your categories and not your blog posts. This means you don't have to spend $5 on a new image for every blog posts since these images should be part of the category design, showing the user they are in the right area of your website
Have vast knowledge in all aspects of where you're branching out to
If you're branching out to a sister niche, you need to know what you're talking about. If you branch out and post content about something, and the readers don't think you know what you're talking about, they will leave almost immediately.
So, to be the best at branching out to a sister niche, pick what you know the most about and make sure it relates to your main niche. This way you will not have to do as much research and you can hammer out quality content quicker than if you had to research it.If you can afford it, you can always hire someone to do the blogging for you, but this isn't always necessary.

Branching out to a sister niche is a pretty common thing, but people just see it as writing more related content about the overall niche. You will always need to add high-quality content, no matter if you're writing about your main niche or a sister niche, high-quality content makes everyone happy. Your design will need to be diverse and unique for each sister niche you branch out to so everyone can relate to it
