    Is guest commenting adding any value for SEO in the current scenario

    Is guest commenting adding any value for SEO in the current scenario, specially when one finds more than 1000 comments which are totally unrelated.

    Guest commenting is still valid and working go this current search engine marketing but the problem is that using automation tools for commenting,take it or leave it software cannot be as wise as human being.That is why i dont employ this black strategy go my marketing campaign neither do i provide this service

    No. They don't. Because they are hardly ever related to the actual content the comment is being placed on. They never say something unique about that content and they place some generic comment that stands out from a mile and swiftly gets deleted as spam. It can so often all end up a waste of time and money for many that attempt it but that's people for you!

    Do you think that the automated commenting was the reason why there are so many unrelated comments? It is like spamming the web page because posting a comment that is unrelated is downright silly and just a distraction although I admit that a comment still adds value to the content regarding the SEO of the web page. If I have a site with many comments like that I guess I need to have stricter moderation to obtain quality in the comments otherwise there will be too much garbage.

    Well it's one of those things that can be used for good and for bad. It's supposed to be done the right way and that is manually by hand as a human being would who is visiting those sites and engaging with the content and comments etc on them. When you start abusing that by using tools to do that for you, it's not only never going to be able to do it like a real human would but it's going to end up making mistakes, big sloppy blatant mistakes that end up making you, your website and your business loose a lot of credibility in the SERPs. For starters not just from the perspective that people will see it and know what it is and delete it or worse mark it as spam so your IP, email address and domain get blocked and marked as spam but so can your website that you are leaving as the link in that comment. And even if you don't use your money site for that but some tier 3's or tier 4's even, that can still backfire on you and end up having an effect on all your tiers that are connected. Some people still do it though because they know it can work for a while so are probably doing it on a churn and burn site.

    But if you use them properly like you should do and manually place real comments that have personality and are related to the actual content that is not going to end up making the same mistakes a bot would is completely different. And in fact, guest commenting can be a great way to connect with others in your industry, find others to network with, establish yourself as an authority and make a name for yourself in your niche. Plus of course, you can build some backlinks to your site that are from sites in the same category as yours which is excellent for SEO purposes and can get a new site taken pretty seriously by the Search Engines straight away and is a method I sometimes go about doing for new sites in new niches and it always has a positive effect all them different related sites pointing to you from big related SEO'd posts and pages can have a great effect and really help give new sites a boost from the start.

    The rewards can be good so if its worth doing, it's worth doing right!

    Pardon me if I am not well versed on the subject but for a layman’s opinion, a comment is also considered content so a new comment is an added new content to the website that can somehow affect the SEO capability especially if there are many comments like you had cited. But when it comes to unrelated comments, do you mean to say those comments were automated or made by bots?
