Since blogging has become so easy to start up due to CMS's like Wordpress being available for free to anyone, people have began to think that it's all an easy streak to riches. People fall into thinking that's it's easy, and that's not something a business owner should be thinking when it comes to their own website or blog.
A business or personal blog is one of the best marketing tools a person can use in order to create traffic to their pages. Almost every major company will have a blog and a dedicated blogger to push content through regularly which will engage people and also bring in new visitors.
Blogging will always work for you as long as you avoid the 7 sins I'll be covering in this discussion 
Don't get too worried if you've already committed one of these sins, there's still time to save yourself lol
1. Not blogging at all or not frequently enough
You will need to set up a schedule, or at least schedule some posts that will go live when you're not around. Having a schedule written down of when you should be publishing content to your blog will help you stay on track and keep your pages active in the eyes of Google. This doesn't mean that you have to publish a 2,000+ word article every day in order to be seen as an active website or blog. You just need to keep consistency when it comes to posting, and that means you can post every 3 days or even once a week and be just fine.
Just remember, the more content you have on your website or blog, the better chances you'll have of tapping into that sweet search engine traffic through long tailed keywords.
Scheduling your content is a great route because you can sit down for a day and write all of your content that will go out over the course of the next month. You can write 15,000 words of content and split it across 10 articles, then schedule them to go out every 3 days so that you don't have to worry about it. Doing this will take up your entire day because writing 15,000 words of content isn't very easy to do, but it's worth it
2. Not using what already works
When it comes to blogging, it's more than just sitting behind a computer screen and writing up some content then clicking "publish". You'll need to focus on key content aspects of each post that you publish, and some of those are as follows:
You can search based on your keywords and find who has a ton of followers and message them directly. The good thing about this is that you can usually bypass the "gatekeeper" secretary and get your message right in front of the actual influencer themselves. Don't be afraid to ask for a shout out or a mention on their Instagram and other platforms, the worst they can say is "No". You'll likely have to pay them to mention your blog or website and those prices vary depending on your niche.
