When it comes to making money online, we never think that you can just use social media marketing to turn a good ROI. But have you ever tried to only use SMM to bring in a consistent amount of sales on auto pilot? With the spike of mobile traffic and loads of people going over to social media platforms to find reviews and just to kill time, it's becoming one of the best places to pull traffic in order to make a sale.
Facebook pages can convert like crazy if you have some good reviews built up. Users will see all the reviews piling up from actual people and they will trust you more. They will then click through and make a purchase if you're lucky enough to get your reputation high enough that they don't want to talk to you prior to purchasing lol.
You'll have to figure out where your target market is going to be browsing in order to get the biggest bang for your buck, but that's not too difficult.
Instagram and twitter will pull in more millenials but have a chance to get someone from generation while pinterest will pull in more people from generation X and some millenials. Choose your demographic and age range, and you will be more happy in the end Posting regularly will also help bring people in, just don't overdo it because you don't want to be seen as spammy. If you're posting once a day you're usually pretty good, but if you're posting 5 times a day you will notice a good amount of your users unliking or unfollowing your profile because it's too active. The only time you can post 5+ times a day and be seen as a good business or profile is on Instagram. There are some people that post 50 times a day and bring in a massive amount of follows because of proper tagging The reason for that is because people can look you up and see what you're already posting about on your profiles and determine if they want to purchase. With a PPC campaign through adwords or bing ads, a person has to click through to your website and then determine if they want to buy.
