Bulding trust with Google to increase your rankings.

Building trust within Google is not easy think because it takes time. For all of you who want to be ranked tomorrow, you're probably not too excited to hear that. It will take a lot of long nights in order to optimize everything from your own pages as well as publishing content all over the web with keyword specific posts. There are various ways to build trust with Google, but there are 3 primary categories.

These 3 Categories Are:

  1. Age of Your Indexed Pages
  2. Authority Link Profile
  3. Quality of Content

Category 1: Age of Your Indeed Pages
When it comes to ranking in the SERPs of Google, and other search engines, you need a good age to your pages overall your website. If you're just getting into SEO then you'll need to wait a while, roughly 6 months, before you can be considered as an aged website in Googles eyes. It's much easier to see a rankings improvement on a website that is older than 6 months compared to a website that was launched yesterday, and this is due to the fact that the older the website is, the easier it is to rank. When I talk about your pages being indexed and aged I'm referring to when Google and the other search engines found your website and not when you decided to go live. There could be a few days to a few months before the search engines discover your website and begin to crawl all of your pages. It's more likely to see the bots crawling your pages after a week or so if you're posting around the web trying to generate traffic Bulding trust with Google to increase your rankings.

Category 2: Authority Link Profile
When it comes to high rankings, you won't achieve them without a high quality link profile which will grant you the authority from Google that you're chasing. To do this you need to get your links inside niche related posts that are written well. This means you're not spinning your content and shoving it through some basic software that will send dozens of spun articles out to thousands of pages across the internet. When someone hears "You can get niche related article backlinks from 1,000 websites for $10" they need to step back and think "Well how is this being done for so cheap?" and the answer is that it's being spun and pushed with software. Now don't get me wrong, I use software all the time when it comes to certain things, but I never use it for building my tier 1 backlinks because it's risky. You'll also need to get your links from different IP addresses. This means that you won't benefit a lot from getting 10 links from the same website with high authority but if you got 10 links from 10 different authority sites you would see a more beneficial boost.

Category 3: Quality of Content
When it comes to content, it MUST be high quality. Pushing duplicate content on your pages from another website will do you no benefit at all. You need to focus on writing up engaging content that your viewers actually want to read. You'll need to remember to have your articles and posts optimized in order to help you rank higher in the SERPs while keeping it written in a way that it's not for the search engines. Doing this will be tricky at first but will come to you over time. It only gets easier and easier with time and practice, but you can do it Bulding trust with Google to increase your rankings.

In Conclusion:
When it comes to ranking high in all of the search engines, primarily Google, you will have to focus on a variety of things like the age of your websites and pages, quality of your backlinks and the quality of your content. These are the big 3 but can be broken down into various smaller bullet points. Focus on being the best in your niche and following these 3 categories and you'll be ranked on the first page in no time Bulding trust with Google to increase your rankings.

Yeah the age of a website is one of the most important things when ranking a website. Especially in the eyes of Google when it ranks things by date of discovery. That's why those sites that are first to talk about something, are the ones that rank highest for it. And that's usually regardless of the SEO profile of that site. Although, sites with more authority behind them usually outrank those sites where the content was first discovered eventually.

But you've pretty much well covered the three main points to consider when ranking, or when wanting to rank a site high today; age, content and backlinks. Today, yesterday and tomorrow.

And saying that, I wonder if there will ever be anything else that Google looks at in consideration of your rankings. There is your social signals, which everyone thinks Google uses as a ranking factor today. And I believe they do too. Although Google won't confirm or deny this outright as they like to keep everyone guessing about that as much as possible. But we all know that there is direct correlation between your social signals count and good rankings today. Well most of us anyway lol.

But other than that, what else could there be, either now or later on in the future that Google could look at, next to your age, backlinks and content for working out how to rank you do you think?

I don't think there is much else is there?

If you have a website or blog, you need to claim Google Authorship. Google authorship is an incentive from Google that associates you with your website. By using Google authorship, your ownership of your websites will be verified by Google.
When you create Gmail, you will get G+ account by default. You need to use G+ to share your contents.
last but not the least, create high quality content, if you contents are inferior, you will lose your credibility with Google.

I think we need to do what we can to please Google by doing what many people advise. Nonetheless, I feel like they are a monopoly and have too much power over webmasters. I mean, it seems like people are walking on eggshells to please them.

When I started learning about SEO in this forum, the first aspect that I remembered was good content. When you upload high quality content to your website, the search engines will treat it as a factor for the ranking in the search list results. Good content means it is unique and original that is not copied from any other website. It should also be relevant to then niche or to the title of the article. Uploading good content regularly can help in maintaining the good ranking of the website in the search list results.
