As an SEO, it's important to know which keywords are worth targeting and how to find new keywords to target! SEO is a constantly changing thing and nothing is guaranteed when it comes to doing SEO. Google doesn't tell you all its secrets and for the large part, it's purely guesswork and guessumptions! It only reveals so much to us and the rest we have to try and work out for ourselves through testing, testing and more testing!
SEO Keyword Tools help a lot with this so that we can gain some kind of insight into our campaigns we wouldn't normally know. Plus some of those same SEO keyword tools can carry out complex and elaborate actions that can help us to rank our websites high. And by and large, the first thing you'll need to do is know about which tools there are, that can actually help with that. And even if you do know how to find keywords that you can rank for, there's always that one more tool you wasn't aware of. So if that's you, here's 5 very clever SEO keyword tools you can use to find more keywords with.
1. Google Keyword Planner
Of course, Google's Keyword Planner Tool is a free online tool that every SEO should use. Although it's been through a lot of changes recently, some of which has been met with derogatory remarks. And it appears, Google's new statistics on the actual numbers are very concerning and not truly accurate. For example, saying a keyword has 1k-10k searches per month. That could mean it could be 1k or 9.9k. Unless you're actually spending money on Google Adwords now, they wont show you that. Still, It can be a very valuable tool for gleaming some new keywords to target.
2. Keyword Shitter
If you can get past the rudeness of the name of this keyword tool. And how basic it looks. And you can give it a try, you'll actually see that it's a very effective free online keyword scraper! Just enter one single word, a phrase or even a long tail keyword, and Keyword Shitter will return many many related keywords. What is more, it also has a negative and positive filter so you can include or exclude certain keywords from being returned and showing.
3. Rmoov.com
Rmoov isn't so much a keyword scraper tool as it is a tool that can help you remove spammy, damaging links to your site. As your site ages, it can pick up spammy, low quality links naturally on its own. That just happens with big sites! Those links can have a damaging, negative effect on your rankings though. Well Rmoov creates and sends emails for you, follows up with reminders, automatically checks links, provides a reporting system for domain owners, marks domains cleaned up and auto-fills a record of every step straight into a Google doc so you can see what's happening along the way. Very clever indeed!
4. MozBar Chrome Extension
How to know how powerful your domain or any domain is or see whether it has any spammy links pointing to it? Well one way to tell is to run it through Moz.com's OSE (Open Site Explorer). Another thing you can do, is install the MozBar Chrome Extension which will tell you how powerful that domain is from a score of 1-100. This number is generally hidden from view but the MozBar will show it all the time. This can be helpful if you want to know what a website domains strength is before you reach out to them and ask them for a guest post or for doing competitor research.
5. BuzzSumo
Everyone is looking for the perfect keywords that we can use on our sites and blogs to drive natural organic traffic to them. But in doing so, some people forget about hot and trending topics. Well the BuzzSumo website lets you find out about these hot and trending topics right now so you can write about them in your blog posts and articles. The good thing about BuzzSumo is that it can notify you when a particular keyword is mentioned somewhere (much like Google Alerts).
6. HARO (Help A Reporter Out)
Got a big newsworthy story you want to share with the world? Don't think that simply posting it on your blog and sharing it on social media is enough? That's where HARO comes in. HARO is a tool that lets you connect with journalists from around the world. If you should happen to have a very "newsworthy story" to publish, just find a journalist on HARO and if they like it, they can publish it on their news sites or even get you a slot on national TV news. If it's a really good story, it can get you a bit of extra exposure for your site, blog or brand name.
A lot of professional SEO's rely on these sorts of tools. And if you're serious about your blog, website or online e-commerce store, they will really help you to get better rankings for knowing which keywords to include and write about on your site.
Of course, like most things, if you don't have the time to do it yourself, and want someone who is experienced and knowledgeable in this field, you can always hire a freelancer to do it for you. And you can always find many SEO services by professional SEO's that will be able to advise you on which keywords to target on your site.
But these are some free tools anyone can use to find more keywords with, do keyword research and improve the rankings of their website or blog with!

Mike, he said that you cannot use Google Keyword planner for free of charge nowadays. I don't know if it's true or not, but even so, you've shared something truly great in this topic and I appreciate your efforts.
I will probably use these tools or at least one of them eventually, in the nearest future. As I need to come up with good keywords to target for one of my upcoming things. If it takes off. It's still in "[i]planning[/i]" mode so to speak, so just let's hope for the best! :)
Otherwise I'll probably use it for my upcoming blog, so it was a good share :)

The only other keyword tool I notice on your list is the moz bar chrome extension. But unfortunately I do not use Google Chrome because if I don't have to use something designed by Google, I won't. The less they can track me the better it is for my and my marketing company lol
