Have you started using Bragshare yet? You might after this...

I just came across BragShare (bragshare.com) from some comment on some blog post that was listing the top social media sites. It was a comment on that post with a link to the site and I liked the look of it and thought I'd check it out.

BragShare "Where everyone is someone" is a social media site of sorts where you have a public "bragline" in which you can post things to. You can import all your posts from the other big social media sites, Twitter, Google+ etc to populate your bragline with if it's empty!

Apparently BragShare was created to make social media more meaningful by providing users and companies with a sophisticated and customizable new medium for creating and sharing memories, achievements, aspirations, and messages.

BragShare is trying to be a different social site to the rest of them by focusing primarily on the life achievements and stories of all who live or lived and lets you discover all kinds of meaningful things about people and businesses that you're interested in and care about.

You can use BragShare as a personal user or as a business user and post things to it such as your own blog posts and other blog posts, websites and things you find online that are interesting to you. You can then set this to be either Global which is public so the whole world can see it. Friends only so only you and your friends can see it or Only Me which means only you can see it. Obviously.

What I've found so far is that you can post virtually anything to BragShare and when you do it creates a public bookmark (with a do follow link).

I've only posted several things to atm including my new service to Promote your IndieGoGo GoFundMe or KickStarter Campaign on Social Media and several of my sites blog posts which you can see on my Bragline here.

Here are some posts I just posted to it.

These will show on the homepage of BragShare and people can vote on them using a star rating system. Plus there are some other perks and things I'm still finding my way around and working out how it all works yet.

But so yeah, that's BragShare in a nutshell, more or less! I like the look of it so far and it will be interesting to see how it all works and whether or not it will grow as big as some of the others. Remember WeHeartIt?

Hey Mike

No, this is the first that I hear of BragShare. It sounds quite cool and I will go and check out your profile... BUT I recently posted about how there are way too many social networks and how it is so hard to draw the line. It becomes so overwhelming really...

So keep us up to date on how this is all panning out for you and then let us know whether you think it is worth signing up anyway!

Wouldn't it be boring if we was stuck using fb and twitter and ig only for the rest of our lives? I think it would be really boring even if they changed the look and feel and added new features. Besides, those other big social media sites are getting a bit long in the tooth now if you know what I mean!!? I would like to see what happened to myspace happen to fb one day that would be epic don't you think?

And no to be honest, I've got a couple clicks but only added couple things to it. I plan on posting all my SEOClerks services to it with affiliate link and all my sites blog posts. But I think you might need a lot of followers for people to see those posts and then for other people to see them, they need to get a lot of likes so they are trending.

People seem fairly responsive on there. One guy said he tweeted my post to his Twitter followers after I added him as a friend. So I think by adding people and liking their stuff and telling them you did that is more likely to get your stuff actually liked and shared by the friends you make on there that you do that for.

What I would really like to know is;

how many users they currently have
how many new users they have registering a day

Their official FB page only has 1600 fans lol..

I have never heard of it, but it sounds to be quite good. They may be smallish but they seem to have potential. I browsed through a bit and I liked the overall look. I think it never hurts to make use of many social media platforms. I guess time is limited and you cannot devote the same attention to each one, but at least you would be there, and so that is better than being invisible.

No I've never heard about them. I was just exploring a little on it, and yeah it seems very interesting website, pretty basic but that is understandable as they are still in beta version. However, I was wondering if they are getting traffic and if they're advertising it as it seems to have very good potential...

Haha "Bragshare" can't find a more egocentric name for a social media then this! From the looks of it, this new social network may have potential, it simply focuses even more on the people's need to post stuff about them.
Don't really dig the design, though, looks cheap and unrefined, go touch with that importing feature, you can instantly have plenty of "activity".
Thanks for sharing, though, I may find some good marketing opportunities over there and is also good to be the first one doing it.

This is a cool concept and im glad you brought it our today. This is a very unique tool that you can use for marketing but i have a few questions. How long has this service been around and how many people are using it? I have to do my research on this website because it seems like it could be a great way to spread myself out more. This website reminds me of a mix between Tumblr and Pinterest but correct me if im wrong. This is a great idea and im gong to start using it as soon as i can get some time to get it going. Looks like a good place I wonder how much it has taken off. And how much potential it has shown. Their traffic stats and the revenue details would be interesting to watch out. I have seen many similar sites out there but not a lot of them keep up beyond 6 months. So this can be harder to see staying longer. However I must say I like this sites concept.
