According to an article I have just been reading on ccsinsight.com the wearable tech market is really growing fast, making it one of the fastest growing industries right now.
They say that by 2019 it will be a $25 billion industry!
I'm always on the look out for new niche ideas for websites and it looks to me like wearable tech like smart watches and also fitness gadgets and healthcare wearables could be a really profitable niche to go into.
Look at how technology is advancing so fast now, it wouldn't hurt to have a website selling these goodies, you will always have something new and exciting to add, that's for sure!

Yes indeed! I've been keeping my ear to the ground for a while when it comes to wearable tech. I've been looking into it for several years now since I first saw about how it was becoming more and more popular on the popular [b]British TV tech show The Gadget Show[/b]. But that was back in 2014. I think they was showing some jacket that had built in solar panels that could charge your phone for you on-the-go.
It's definitely getting bigger as more and more people become aware of it and I think it will eventually take over completely as we integrate technology into our lives even more. Especially when they have a practical side to it. Plus they are always developing "smart clothing". Clothing that can use the static electricity that's generated when you run to charge your mobile at the same time that kind of thing.
But it's nothing new. They've been harping on about wearable tech since early 2000. It's just that it's taken up to now to really take off. So this could be a very lucrative niche to get into it and you can already find some sites/stores popping up that cover it. [b]wareable.com[/b] for example. They're quite a big site now with almost 100k backlinks since their inception in 2014. That's some progress! :)
